tired paces

It is test time at the Pace household. I had planned on taking a physics test on Monday and my math test today, but lucky for me I realized that they both ended on MONDAY!! and of course I hadn't studied for either of them. However, it all worked out I took my 2 1/2 hour physics test after work & class, and then studied for my trig test which I took at 7:00pm. Overall, yesterday was a long day of studying and testing. I came home to find Grady frantically finishing math assignments to prepare for his math test today! I was exhausted and fell asleep last night around 10:30pm and I don't even know when poor Grady finished his Math and came to bed. I know that he must have been soooo tired because when I woke up he was asleep holding his journal. I moved his journal and asked him why he was holding it, and he mumbled, "I was just going to look at some of the days in it."--Whatever that means??? I must also point out that this journal of his is completely empty.... silly Grady!

Well there isn't anything too exciting going on in our lives right now. Just school and homework and much more homework...and tests. It's not very fun, in fact I am really getting sick of becoming educated...seriously, how long does it take? I don't even feel any smarter after 3 and 1/2 years of it. Ok really, maybe just a little smarter.

Fun times--Grady and I went on a hot date on Friday night! It included Me, Grady, Shawn, Jed, & Klint....and we went to the Kalai concert! I think I am obsessed, he is so amazing and so dang funny. It was a blast, and it was so fun to hang out with all of the boys again. Even though I didn't really fit in to the conversation of, "Do you remember in the first grade, when you and Klint stole my sled......." but still, good times.

Mirror Lake 2008

Every year we take family pictures up at Mirror Lake by the same tree. Hopefully the tradition will last because the middle tree in these pictures is extremely dead and falling over. It was pretty cold up there and luckily we made it out just in time before it started to down pour rain. Back at home we had to run out with umbrella's to finish our dutch oven chicken.

We're Married!!

Here are just a few pictures that Ginger & Gennifer took

Here is a picture of us and Kalai. He is seriously so amazing and I loved having him play at the reception. Although Grady was kind of suspicious to why I decided to put my arm around Kalai for this picture and not him...

Almost August 1st!

Here are some pictures of Grady and I that his sister Gennifer took just around Grady's house. We really didn't have many pictures of us besides our engagement pictures and it has turned out so nice to have more. It really is kind of crazy because we only had a couple of pictures of us at a Kalai concert, at Halloween, a Christmas party, and on Valentines day. Our Wedding Video was almost just a slideshow of us being single! I can't believe that August 1st is coming so fast! I hope that everyone has received their invitiations...I have been really worried since my sister Amber didn't get hers and neither did Grady's sister Ginger.

Las Vegas

On a whim my friend Jocelyn and I decided to go to Las Vegas for the weekend. It was a sweet bachelorette party! We flew there late on Friday and woke up and ate at the Bagel Cafe which was so good. They had these gigantic chocolate covered strawberries...yummy!

We played outside at her sisters pool

We went to the Phantom of the Opera and it was amazing. Although there was an older couple that were sitting the right of me that every once in a while would kiss really loud... it was gross. We watched the fountains at the Belagio, and got delicious cheesecake from the cheesecake factory.
When we were leaving the strip, mostly because my ankle decided to swell up again, we passed a group of men dressed up as pirates. I guess they thought that it would be really funny to try to scare me, so as they walked by they jumped toward me and growled, "arrggh". Anyways it scared me really bad and I jumped and screamed, and I suppose my scream is pretty humorous to a bunch of drunk pirates.

This was at the end of our trip. As you can see Jocelyn is really sad that it is over (even though she is going back to Vegas in 2 days) but what is even worse is that her bag got lost, and even more devastating is that she switched purses right before the flight and checked her car keys with her luggage. So, we waited for her brother to bring us spare keys...it was a late night.

The Many Faces of Cameron

The other day Cameron decided to show me all of the many cool faces he can make.

Here is his sad face...

Here is his mad face...
