HAWAII 2008

I was lucky enough to get to go to Hawaii with my family last week. Even though it is so tough to miss a whole week of class it was totally worth it! We went to the big island and stayed at the Hilton beach resort.

We had a Rootbeer float party! Which was for sure the highlight of my day today. In my Exercise Physiology lab we had to measure our body fat percentage and do skinfold tests which were not fun. I was assigned to work with a group of five guys, and my skin is still pink from them pinching and pulling my skin.

Ode to the life of janie

Well, I usually don't post anything unless I have some cool pictures to go with it. However, I got my new cool camera for Christmas and I am kind of scared to just drag it with me everywhere I go. I like to protect it. Hence I have no pictures, but here is a picture of my new camera...at least I think this is my camera! If not it's pretty similar.
Things have been pretty good in my life lately. Although, I am sick of walking around campus when it is so freezing cold outside. I am excited that after this semester I will be a Senior in college, and I will only have two semesters left! I love school but I will be so happy to be finished with my bachelors degree.
I love my roommates Jocelyn and Kristina! We have some fun video's of us dancing to a Hannah Montana song in our apartment, although they made me promise not to post them on my blog. Lately, we go to Baskin Robins and get the best white hot chocolate ever...well except for the kind that Grady can make, and then we have way too much fun watching episodes of friends. I am so glad to have such good friends because to be honest long distance relationships suck!

So, it has been a really long time since I have posted anything. Here are some pictures of new years eve. I got an awesome new camera for Christmas and I love taking pictures and cool videos with it...especially of Grady!
Look how cute! Kristina, Mark, Shawn, Grady, and I played games all night and watched Big Fish. Everyone was mad because I totally rocked them in yahtzee turbo!

CHRISTMAS

It was time once again for the Rydalch Family Christmas Party and it was lots of fun! I have been very fortunate this Christmas to have not yet suffered from the flu(knock on wood)...which seems to be my very own Christmas tradition. Grady came with me this year and we at least had fun taking pictures of ourselves. Although, I forgot to explain to Grady how we do our adult gift exchange (how you pass your gift left or right whenever they say it in the story) and I think he was pretty confused when my cousin Joe started throwing a gift at him! Merry Christmas!

Finals

This is Mandy and I when we are dressed up and looking pretty good. Although, finals week has arrived yet again and something inside of us snaps and we go crazy. I am actually writing this post right now to prevent me from acting like this video below in the middle of the Harold B. Lee library. I have only been studying in the library for about four hours now, but I really REALLY want to just give up. However, that is not an option, so I hope you enjoy this little video and if you do like it...there is plenty more from whence it came.
